WSP is currently initiating a search for an Early Professional, Traffic Engineer

This position can be based out of our Dallas, TX office.

This Opportunity

Be involved in projects with our Texas/New Orleans Traffic Engineering Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. The individual will be part of a team of talented professionals delivering transportation and infrastructure projects within the region. This position will be exposed to a wide array of traffic engineering in our blended traffic design and operations team. Based in the Dallas office, this role will report to the office at least three days a week and have the option to work remotely up to two days per week.

Your Impact

• Under general supervision, assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, maps, technical data, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction.
• Assist with performing basic professional traffic engineering work relating to conducting investigations and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, roadways, pathways, intersections, signage, signals, pavement markings, and transportation corridors to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, and construction or operating permits.
