Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to build the top of the sales funnel through high-quality outbound activity. This includes cold calls, personalized emails, follow-up sequences, and outreach to prospects from conferences, events, and existing sales lists. The BDR is responsible for generating qualified meetings for the sales team and creating consistent momentum in the early stages of the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities


• Research and identify prospective credit unions, community banks, and lending partners.


• Make a high volume of outbound calls and emails each day to create new opportunities.


• Qualify prospects and schedule initial demos with decision-makers.


• Work through sales lists and reengage previous leads or past opportunities.


• Leverage conference and event attendee lists before, during, and after each event to maximize outreach.


• Maintain accurate lead records, activity tracking, and follow-ups in the CRM.


• Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine messaging, improve targeting, and support lead nurture campaigns.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


• One to three years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or financial services.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Comfortable with cold calling, email prospecting, and outbound activity targets.


• Organized, self-motivated, and focused on achieving measurable results.


• Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Apollo.


• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
