Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The Production Technician plays a key role in supporting daily P29 manufacturing operations by operating equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring products meet company standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Duties
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot media manufacturing machinery and equipment, including batching, coating, and cutting foam sheets
- Perform setup, equipment calibration, and clean-up post-production run.
- Inspect media for quality, accuracy, and consistency; identify and report defects.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality protocols.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including daily line inspections and equipment cleaning.
- Record production data, including output, downtime, and material usage.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to address equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities.
- Assist with inventory tracking, material handling, and replenishment.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical, electrical, or troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, diagrams, and measurement tools.
- Comfortable working with machinery and automated equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.
