Creative Content Producer

Position Summary

Under limited supervision, the Creative Content Producer will support and lead the creation of groundbreaking multimedia and marketing content for Orion Lending. This role blends the creative, technical, and storytelling responsibilities of both a Multimedia Producer and a Content Producer. We're looking for someone who thinks visually, writes creatively, and brings concepts to life with a high level of professionalism and polish.

This individual must be a proactive self-starter who anticipates needs, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Mortgage experience is not required—what matters is creativity, innovation, and the drive to imagine new ways to WOW audiences.

The Creative Content Producer will manage the multimedia room in our Plano, TX office while also collaborating closely with remote team members to coordinate filming, scripting, editing, and cross-location production needs. Additional projects may arise as department needs evolve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but not limited to the following responsibilities:

· Brainstorm innovative video concepts including one-offs, recurring series, demo reels, interviews, exclusives, and social-first creative.

· Create graphics, thumbnails, overlays, and visual elements to support publishing needs.

· Oversee the entire video production lifecycle whether in person or remotely:

o Pre-Production: storyboarding, scriptwriting, outlining interview questions, visual planning.

o Production: filming, directing talent, managing green screen shoots, capturing clean audio.

o Post-Production: video editing, audio sweetening, color correction, green-screen keying, typography and graphic animation.

· Edit high-quality videos using Adobe Premiere Pro CC, After Effects, Photoshop, and similar software.

· Ensure all output is brand-aligned and matches Orion's aesthetic, tone, and messaging.

· Capture photography as needed, including business headshots and on-site event photography.

· Manage the Orion YouTube channel—organizing content, annotating, optimizing metadata, and scheduling releases.

· Produce podcasts end-to-end: brainstorming concepts, writing scripts/interview questions, recording audio, and editing episodes.

· Conduct training sessions to help employees feel confident on camera and comfortable using Orion's video-related technology.

· Manage the multimedia rooms in our Plano, TX office, ensuring the spaces are organized, production-ready, and aligned with Orion's brand standards.

· Maintain professionalism, strong communication skills, and a supportive presence when directing or collaborating with internal stakeholders.

· Write creative scripts, storylines, captions, taglines, and marketing copy for videos, social media, and other digital content.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

· 2+ Years Experience in Multimedia Production, Videography, Content Production, Digital Media, or a similar hybrid creative role.

· Bachelor's degree in Film & Television, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience.

· Strong portfolio and/or demo reel required.

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· Ability to develop innovative, eye-catching multimedia content.

· Strong design sense; ability to create simple graphics or visual support assets is a plus.

· Strong writing and storytelling abilities.

· Pre- and post-production experience including:

o Lighting setups, filming, and on-set direction

o Understanding of production gear (cameras, lenses, tripods/monopods, light kits, lav/boom mics, digital audio recorders, gimbals)

o Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, or comparable editing tools

· Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through abilities.

· Motivated team player who takes direction well.

· Professional presence and excellent on-camera coaching/interpersonal skills.

· Photography experience, specifically business headshots and on-site event photography (a plus).

· Podcast production experience (a plus).

Physical and Work Conditions

Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employee must be open to work overtime to the requirements of the role.
