Box Truck Owner Operator

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Owner Operator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers independence and the opportunity to manage your own schedule while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Prior experience with warehouse operations, commercial driving, and route management is highly valued. The position requires a well-maintained box truck and a valid driver's license suitable for commercial driving.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to deliver goods to various locations according to scheduled routes
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high levels of customer service
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
• Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, routes, and vehicle maintenance records
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
• Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory and organizing shipments as needed
• Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies during operations

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or route driving with a box truck or similar vehicle
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages or equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures including load & unload processes
• Knowledge of driving a manual transmission vehicle is preferred
• Experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts is a plus but not mandatory
• Excellent navigation skills and route planning abilities for efficient deliveries
• Valid driver's license appropriate for commercial vehicle operation (e.g., driver)
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4, $6,000.00 per week
