Collins Aerospace in Fairfield, CA, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer responsible for managing and maintenance of the program budget and schedule, as well as intensive coordination across stakeholders to meet the objectives of the program. The Project Engineer will be involved in all phases of the product life, including proposal preparation, brainstorming sessions, supplier support, manufacturing support, and other sustaining activities.

This role is eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do

• Ensure processes are adhered to by the engineering execution team and liaises with program management and other IPT leads to assure technical goals are achieved

• Responsible for capturing lessons learned

• Take ownership of technical project execution through Design & Development activities into Production

• Present project status to multiple levels of Leadership

• Work as part of a cohesive team with test engineering, product engineering, system engineering, program management and Operations

• Maintain and oversee Earned Value Management as a Cost
