AZ Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced A/Z Truck Driver to operate a truck and pup locally in a safe and timely manner. This Job is for the Joel Vachon Trucking Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport raw materials to and from processing facilities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Perform basic preventative maintenance as needed
• Plan routes and maintain delivery schedules
• Keep accurate logbooks (digital or paper) for hours, mileage, rest periods, fuel, and repairs
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and government regulations
• Load and unload vehicles as required
• Verify delivery instructions and complete necessary paperwork
• Promptly report any vehicle issues, accidents, or violations

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Experience using GPS systems, AVL units, and CB radios
• Strong knowledge of Ontario driving regulations
• Ability to handle long-distance driving and variable conditions
• Clean driving record
• Adaptable and proactive when facing road or weather challenges
• References required upon request

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
