Service Advisor

Beach Cities Toyota is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will ensure their automotive service needs are met with exceptional care and professionalism. You will be responsible for reviewing and identifying potential vehicle issues, recommending appropriate services, and managing workflow within the service department to deliver a seamless, efficient experience that builds customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service and repair needs.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Clearly explain repair options, associated costs, and service timelines to customers.
• Manage and schedule service appointments, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work.
• Collaborate closely with technicians to maintain an efficient workflow within the service department.
• Accurately process payments and maintain detailed service records.
• Follow up with customers after service to confirm satisfaction and resolve any concerns.

Skills

• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Prior experience in a dealership environment (preferred).
• Solid understanding of automotive service management practices and workflows.
• Proficiency with Reynolds & Reynolds ERA–Ignite or similar dealership management systems (preferred).
