World Vision is hiring a Senior Data Solutions Analyst to support complex data management initiatives and ensure the delivery of reliable and accurate information to the business community.

Role: Senior Data Solutions Analyst

Reports to: Director, Field and Product Operations 

Location: Hybrid, preference for Seattle/Portland region 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in data management and/or information systems.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A for any employer 

Travel: No  

Estimated hiring range: $81,300 – $112,560  

The Job 

The Senior Data Solutions Analyst will oversee data systems, transform information requests into actionable insights, and ensure cohesive management of data tools, standards, repositories, and business intelligence solutions. 

Responsibilities will include  

  • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life; actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  • Perform the responsibilities of a Data Solutions Analyst for complex and independently managed data tools and processes, conduct analysis of service requests, and actively model and create data structures to meet strategic business information objectives.
  • Ensure continuity of services across the Information Systems Group by communicating clearly and frequently with project managers, customers, business analysts, systems analysts, and quality assurance personnel.
  • Participate in corporate projects, review work products for quality, mentor Data Solutions Analysts, work collaboratively with team members, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in translating information requests into data deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of information delivery tools, standards, and data repositories.
  • Ability to model and create data structures to meet business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in quality assurance and review of work products.
  • Capability to mentor and coach junior Data Solutions Analysts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills..
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of World Vision Inc.
  • Proficiency in using corporate communication tools and staying informed of organizational changes.

    • Requirements  

    Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in data management and/or information systems.

    Strongly Preferred Experience:

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases and advance Excel
  • Proficiency in developing data visualization tools using Power Bi
  • Experience in predictive analytics; leveraging historical and real time data to forecast future outcomes.
  • Experience in a role that requires a global understanding of data tools and processes. Proven track record of conducting analysis and creating data structures for business needs.
  • Experience in communicating with project managers, business analysts, systems analysts, and quality assurance personnel. Prior experience in mentoring or coaching team members.
  • Experience working in a Christian organization is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to work in a mission-driven organization and embody its values.
  • Experience in participating in corporate projects and providing input on corporate information needs and business rules.

    • Salary & Benefits 

    WVUS Pay Grade Level: 225 

    Estimated hiring range: $81,300 - $112,560 

    The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate's geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws. A different range may apply in certain locations.
