Summerville company is need of skilled Forklift Operators that can work from 5:00pm-2:00am Monday-Friday and Saturday as needed. All positions are Temp to hire REACH and Stand-up Forklift experience will get you working today
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receives pick assignments via radio data terminal (RDT) and enters the proper information into the RDT using the scanner or by keying the information in manually.
• Assembles customer orders from storage area/pick locations and transports the orders to designated shipping doors in staging area by operating a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Verifies and reads product codes on color-coded product labels for sorting foreign or miscellaneous products.
• Transports tires/products within the distribution center by operating a forklift and/or pallet jack. Helps arrange and load tires/products onto trailers. Also places tires back into stock when needed.
• Counts products stacked on pallets and records proper information on puller's copy.
• Maintains clean and orderly storage area which includes straightening locations; discarding debris; reporting bad stacks, foreign, damaged or mislabeled tires.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items. Delivers items to required staging area.
• Loads and unloads trucks (or rail cars) and stocks products as needed.
• New and other related duties as assigned.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• The employee frequently is required to stand and lift for long hours. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
