Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

Raycap, Inc. is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team Based out of the Post Falls, ID. facility, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will effectively manage long-term suppliers and support our overall cost strategy.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Manage supplier identification, qualification, and onboarding processes
• Engage in contract negotiation and outline the framework for agreements; documents records, as necessary
• Identify, analyze, and implement opportunities to achieve cost reductions
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to evaluate alternative materials, suppliers, and processes
• Identify opportunities to maximize the use of product without sacrificing quality
• Monitor and evaluate supplier risk management against key performance indicators
• Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory, quality, environmental, and ESG requirements
• Coordinate supplier visits and conduct routine supplier audits against agreed upon terms and conditions 

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years applicable supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
• Clear written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support supplier engagement
