As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting meals that meet our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
• Assist in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
• Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality food presentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the culinary field.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with various cooking techniques, equipment, and knife skills.
• Experience in menu planning is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
