About the Role

We are hiring a Procurement Purchasing Manager to own the purchasing strategy, vendor relationships, and inventory flow for a fast-moving, high-volume C-store distribution business. This is a hands-on, on-site role in Little Rock. You will be at the center of our supply chain, ensuring we have the right products, at the right cost, at the right time. If you understand C-store dynamics, packaged consumer goods velocity, and the realities of nicotine or tobacco-adjacent categories, this role was built for you.

Responsibilities

  • You will own purchasing from strategy to execution.
  • You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and secure supply on core and emerging SKUs.
  • You will forecast demand and maintain inventory levels that support same-day shipping expectations.
  • You will analyze sales trends, turns, margins, and vendor performance to drive smarter buying decisions.
  • You will source new products and vendors that align with our high-margin, high-velocity model.
  • You will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and leadership to align purchasing with growth goals.
  • You will protect cash flow while ensuring inventory availability.

Qualifications

  • You have direct experience in the convenience store and packaged consumer goods industry.
  • You have purchasing or procurement experience for fast-moving SKUs.
  • Experience with tobacco, nicotine, or alternative products sold into C-stores is strongly preferred.
  • You understand distributor economics, turns, margin optimization, and vendor negotiations.
  • You are analytical, decisive, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
  • You live in the Little Rock Metro area and want an on-site leadership role.

Required Skills

  • Direct experience in the convenience store and packaged consumer goods industry.
  • Purchasing or procurement experience for fast-moving SKUs.
  • Understanding of distributor economics, turns, margin optimization, and vendor negotiations.
  • Analytical and decisive mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site in the Little Rock Metro area.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with tobacco, nicotine, or alternative products sold into C-stores.

Pay range and compensation package

Base salary of $85,000 to $110,000, with generous performance incentives.
