As a diesel tech at Crete Carrier, you’ll be part of a supportive team working in one of our shops across 15 states. You’ll help maintain and repair our fleet of over 5,000 trucks and trailers, making sure everything stays safe and reliable on the road. *What You’ll Be Doing *
* Handle minor repairs on trucks and trailers
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing
* Keep your workspace clean and safe
* Run diagnostics and document repairs
* Bring your own basic tools—we’ll provide the rest
*Qualifications *
* Associate degree or 1–2 years of related mechanical repair experience
* Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills across tractors, trailers, and refrigeration systems
* Ability to read and follow repair manuals, work orders, and instructions; proficient with Microsoft Office
* Able to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform repairs in various positions and environments
* Valid driver’s license required (CDL A preferred); ASE, DOT, and EPA certifications as required; must provide own tools and safety footwear
*Equipment You’ll Work On *
* Trucks: Freightliner, Kenworth, Ottawa, Autocar
* Trailers: Wabash, Great Dane, Utility
* Reefer Units: Thermo-King, Carrier
*Multiple Schedules Available:*
Monday - Thursday: 4:00pm - 2:30am
Sunday - Wednesday: 8:00am - 6:30pm
Wednesday - Saturday: 8:00am - 6:30pm

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
