This role is a direct extension of our core values: fast response, clean organization, accurate quoting, proactive follow-up, and high-quality handoffs. This Inside Sales Representative is a key growth role that absorbs our previous Sales Administrator responsibilities and elevates them into a true selling seat. You will own inbound opportunities and proactively drive revenue by moving leads through discovery, quoting, follow-up, and close. This role is not just "taking orders." While our products have a strong reputation and sell well to ideal clients, you must be able to lead conversations, recommend solutions, create urgency, and close; looking for ways for SpeedPro to grow the relationship and become a more valuable partner. You will also play a critical role in margin and operational efficiency by ensuring each job is sold correctly and handed off to Operations with a complete Scope packet. Primary responsibilities include: Connect and coordinate marketing + sales activities so no opportunity is left behind Use software/data to point the team to new opportunities and leads Move opportunities through the pipeline at max speed and close business Price with discipline and protect margin Create "Definition of Ready" handoffs so Ops can execute flawlessly We're looking for an "A-player" who wants clear expectations and objective results. Success in this role is measured by: Speed to Lead: fast response time to inbound calls/emails/leads Quote Output + Quality: quotes delivered quickly with clear scope and minimal revisions Close Rate: consistent conversion from quote ? won work Pipeline Hygiene: CRM is current; every opportunity has a next step; aging quotes are actively worked Gross Profit Discipline ($Value): pricing follows guardrails and protects margin (no "panic discounting") Definition of Ready Quality: Operations receives complete, ready-to-produce handoffs (few/no missing details) Customer Experience: professional communication, strong follow-through, and trust-building with B2B decision-makers Ideal candidates will also possess embodiment and promotion of our Core Values: teamwork, creativity, $value driving, timeliness, attention to detail; strong selling instincts; exceptional organization skills; energy and urgency; proactive mindset; ability to thrive in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment with changing priorities; ability to learn and adapt quickly to modern web-based software; clear, decisive oral and written communication; palpable professionalism and customer service.
