We are seeking motivated Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri! In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our logistics facility, contributing to the timely and accurate processing of goods. Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires individuals who are physically capable of performing duties that involve regular lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving throughout the distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
