What you'll do:
Champion a safety-first culture and ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
Conduct regular field visits and coaching sessions to reinforce Zero Harm principles.
Maintain compliance with Department of Transport and enterprise HSE standards.
Oversee daily delivery and service operations across the District.
Ensure adherence to delivery protocols, route schedules, and service standards.
Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to address customer feedback and resolve issues
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of drivers, technicians, and plant/utility staff.
Collaborate with HR and Logistics on seasonal staffing models and workforce planning.
Drive accountability and employee engagement through clear communication and performance management.
Manage district-level budgets and control costs, including overtime and fleet utilization.
Monitor and enforce KPIs related to delivery, service, safety, and resource productivity.
Provide frontline input to Finance, HR, and other corporate functions to inform strategic decisions.
Ensure compliance with fleet maintenance programs to maximize uptime and reduce costs.
Oversee infrastructure and inventory management, including propane tanks and parts.
What you bring:
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in operations, preferably in the propane, energy or utilities sector.
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, operations management or related field is an asset.
Fully bilingual (spoken and written) in English and French, is required
Proven experience managing frontline teams including drivers, technicians and service specialists Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Strong understand of safety standards and regulatory compliance
Effective communicator with experience in cross-functional collaboration across departments like HR, Finance, Logistics and Sales.
Experience managing district-level budgets, controlling expenses.
Strong customer service orientation
Salary: $72,198 - $90,248 annually (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
