Manager, Program Management – Onsite
We have a rewarding opportunity for a Manager, Program Management to join our Ottawa, ON facility.
As our Manager, Program Management you will manage the development and implementation process of the company's products and services. You will coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams, focus on delivering new or upgrading existing products. You will monitor the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. You will organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints. Also you will be responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals.

Salary Range: $137,400 - $183,200 plus bonus opportunity

Your Challenge:
Defining, launching, and driving mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core projects. Leading the planning and execution of high-impact programs, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Resolving a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways
Creating a method of change management including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans, process training, etc.
Leading complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting. Identifying potential risks and developing proactive mitigation strategies. Ensuring that programs are compliant with organizational policies
Driving the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions in program management. Conducting post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
Exercising delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs
Other responsibilities as assigned
What You Bring:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
10-12 Years work experience in the field of program management and contract negotiation and administration within the Aerospace/Military environment. Good knowledge of ITAR is a benefit
Use of Microsoft products and other tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Business suite of products, Adobe, Kiteworks and SAP
Expertise in managing complex programs, including risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation
Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and engagement
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance optimization
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing shifting priorities and demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges
