The job involves:
- Conduct physical inspections of multiple parking signs to verify accurate pricing.
- Update pay stations daily to ensure payment functionality at Fallsview (FV) and Casino Niagara (CN).
- Verify operational status of gates at Fallsview, CN, and Associate Lot.
- Monitor gate activity, respond to intercom "help" requests, and assist guests with VIP access via Momentum cards
- Replenish receipt rolls at exit gates and pay stations to maintain payment functionality
- Remove complimentary exit tickets from gates and pay stations across both properties.
- Manage traffic flow at the Port Cochere, ensuring fire routes remain clear during peak times and events (Avalon, OLG shows).
- Perform manual occupancy counts of parking garages to ensure accurate data for occupancy software.
- Provide in-person assistance at pay stations and exit gates, especially during staff shortages
- Monitor and resolve errors in Zeag software that may affect gate access or VIP functionality.
- Reset parking gate software and LED signage as needed due to outages or system updates
- Print and manage inventory of parking passes; maintain manual tracking and system updates.
- Assist with VIP parking access during peak times to maintain traffic flow and guest satisfaction
- Keep inventory of gate parts for Fallsview, CN, Associate lot to ensure we have available for on the spot repairs
- Keep inventory of Receipt rolls & Blank parking tickets so we can order items to keep a par stock.
- Exceptional communication skills, Demonstrates respect, regard and consideration for others
- Builds company reputation through earning trust and loyalty of guests. Shares knowledge and information regarding the organization
- Works as part of a team for the success of the business. Exhibits attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties
- Any other duties as assigned
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
- O.S.S.D or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education
- Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience
- Valid Ontario full class "G" license without any limitations, restrictions or major infractions
- A Driver's Abstract free of major and/or frequent offences
- Smart Serve Certification
- Excellent computer skills in Front Services related software applications: (CVPS, Zeag, Micros, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with stress and conflict situations and demonstrate quick decision making skills
