Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to work as an independent contractor.

• Revenue split: 70% for the RMT / 30% for the clinic
• The RMT is fully responsible for:
• Issuing receipts
• Managing insurance billing
• Taxes and professional responsibilities
• The clinic provides the space and client flow.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of customer service to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Massage Therapist will work in a serene environment dedicated to health and relaxation, utilizing their expertise to enhance clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Consult with clients to understand their specific concerns and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up therapies if necessary.
• Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
• Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with relevant certifications or licenses.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions treated through massage therapy is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
• Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client questions confidently.
• Prior experience working in a spa, wellness center, or healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory. REQUIREMENTS (MANDATORY):

* Must be a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in Ontario

* Must have an active CMTO license

* Must have professional liability insurance

* Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

IMPORTANT:

Applications without an active CMTO license will be automatically rejected.

This position is NOT for:

* Students

* Non-registered massage therapists

* Other professions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.80-$96.66 per hour

• ACTIVE CMTO LINCENSE (REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST- ONTARIO (required)

Work Location: In person
