Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS if available
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist in setting up and cleaning tables, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain excellent guest service by addressing questions, special requests, and concerns professionally
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accuracy
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Familiarity with food industry terminology such as serving, food preparation, and hospitality practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
