Job Summary:
We are hiring a Shipping Clerk for our Charlotte, North Carolina facility! This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and accurate dispatch of goods to our customers. You will manage the end-to-end shipping process, from verifying order details to coordinating with carriers and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Verify order accuracy against shipping manifests and customer requirements.
  • Generate shipping labels and prepare necessary documentation for various carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, LTL).
  • Schedule and coordinate shipment pick-ups with freight carriers.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper handling and security.
  • Conduct quality checks on packed items to confirm accuracy and presentation.
  • Maintain precise shipping records and update the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Adhere to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stocking.
  • Contribute to efficient logistics operations through teamwork and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, order fulfillment, or general warehouse operations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals is a plus.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and occasional Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
