We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy logistics hub in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating various types of forklifts and possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects (up to 60 lbs).
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
- Experience with reach trucks and other specialized equipment is a plus.
