In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders and note any differences.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label all incoming inventory according to company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments regarding shipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and computer systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
