Join our vibrant logistics team as a Material Handler in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving the movement and organization of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing materials within the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy and accessibility. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, pays close attention to detail, and prioritizes safety. This position requires the ability to handle various materials and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Significant physical exertion, including frequent lifting, is expected. We are committed to a safe workplace, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Stock shelves and designated areas with incoming inventory.
- Pick items for orders as needed.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting equipment.
- Must be able to manage lifting tasks of up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
