Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain the operational integrity of our facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is critical for ensuring our warehouse equipment and infrastructure are functioning safely and efficiently, supporting our extensive logistics operations. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. A strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety are key requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor belts, pallet jacks).
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
  • Conduct safety inspections of the facility and equipment, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency repair needs.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies for maintenance operations.
  • Support the logistics team by ensuring equipment readiness and minimizing downtime.
  • Perform duties related to material handling and general warehouse upkeep as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and logistics systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
