We are seeking reliable Warehouse Workers to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, involving the handling of goods, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, from receiving to shipping. If you are physically capable, detail-oriented, and a team player, we encourage you to apply and contribute to our efficient supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for distribution.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks for outgoing shipments.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics processes.
- Perform manual tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 50 pounds.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
