We are hiring an Inventory Clerk for our bustling logistics facility in Nashville, Tennessee. You will be responsible for conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of our stock data. A meticulous approach and strong organizational skills are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Track and document inventory movements, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure correct stock placement.
- Maintain organized stock locations and identify damaged or expired goods.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock aging, and discrepancies.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to resolve inventory issues and improve accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support overall logistics operations by ensuring reliable inventory data.
- Tasks may involve lifting and moving inventory items up to 30 pounds.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory best practices.
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including occasional lifting and moving of stock.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE.
