We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to all Safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, optimizing workflows, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of warehouse logistics, supply chain management, and team motivation. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. The role may involve occasional physical tasks and requires the ability to handle tasks involving significant Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of Safety and ensure compliance with all regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to maintain accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure operational readiness.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role or similar leadership position.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with WMS and other relevant software.
- Ability to perform Lifting and other physical tasks as needed.
- Commitment to promoting a strong Safety culture.
- Certification in operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
