Are you detail-oriented and experienced in warehouse management? We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics facility. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management systems and a commitment to Safety and operational excellence. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all warehouse safety protocols are mandatory. This role may involve some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels within the WMS.
- Monitor stock rotation (e.g., FIFO) to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Assist in the organization and layout of warehouse storage areas.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and Safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless inventory flow and support logistics operations.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment as necessary for inventory tasks, following all safety guidelines.
- Contribute to process improvements for inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS).
- Ability to perform some Lifting and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and best practices.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
