Become an Order Picker on our dedicated logistics team in Chicago, Illinois! As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in accurately gathering products for customer orders. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth running of our warehouse operations. This position involves navigating our warehouse to locate specific items, ensuring they are picked correctly, and preparing them for the next stage of fulfillment. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring adherence to all Safety protocols and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, including regular Lifting of items, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use scanning devices to track picked items and update inventory levels.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all Safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to a supervisor.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity targets.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking shelves.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of products.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to Safety in all tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
