We are seeking a proactive and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is vital for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for implementing effective inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring that our stock levels are precise. Your analytical skills and dedication to detail will directly contribute to optimizing our supply chain efficiency and minimizing stockouts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage inventory control processes within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, ensuring accuracy.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze stock movement, and report on inventory status.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping processes.
- Utilize inventory management software (WMS) to track inventory transactions and maintain data integrity.
- Implement procedures to prevent inventory loss, damage, or obsolescence.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support the continuous improvement of logistics and supply chain functions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
