Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to move, stack, and unstack palletized materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of goods.
- Perform daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance needs.
- Accurately pick and stage orders according to order tickets.
- Maintain inventory integrity by ensuring proper storage and rotation of products.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as cycle counts and general housekeeping.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Valid certification for operating reach trucks is required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics best practices.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
