We are hiring dedicated Order Pickers to join our dynamic team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. Your responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse, locating specific products, verifying order details, and transporting items to the packing stations. A keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are essential for success. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting , and requires the ability to work productively in a fast-paced logistics environment. We are committed to maintaining a secure workplace and expect all team members to follow safety protocols diligently and utilize the appropriate PPE .
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve correct items and quantities from warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanner output.
- Verify product information against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and report any stock discrepancies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the picking areas and equipment.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE .
- Meet or exceed established productivity standards for order picking.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve warehouse operations knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse technology, such as RF scanners, is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
- Willingness to wear and use all required PPE .
- Strong attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and a proactive approach to tasks.
