We are seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our expanding operations in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of customer orders for shipment. This role involves efficiently navigating our warehouse, identifying and retrieving specific products based on order specifications, and staging them for the next phase of the shipping process. Success in this position hinges on meticulous accuracy, a steady pace, and an unwavering commitment to safety . The role requires individuals who are comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting , and who can thrive in a busy, results-driven logistics environment. We are dedicated to providing a secure workplace and expect all employees to adhere to safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products to fulfill customer orders using provided lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to designated consolidation or packing areas.
- Replenish inventory in pick locations as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned work zones.
- Strictly follow all established safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure correct usage and care of all required PPE .
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and any potential issues.
- Meet or exceed individual and team productivity goals.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of warehouse procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse picking roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- A strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Willingness to consistently wear all necessary PPE .
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential.
