Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories accurately and efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Conduct audits of inventory locations and storage methods.
- Report on inventory accuracy and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
