We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our Kansas City, Missouri facility. In this hands-on role, you will be at the heart of our order fulfillment process, responsible for picking, packing, and preparing customer orders with speed and accuracy. You will navigate the warehouse efficiently, locate items using scanning technology, and ensure orders are packed securely for shipment. This position requires a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety. You will be an integral part of our logistics chain, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We provide necessary PPE and expect strict adherence to safety guidelines, including safe lifting techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using RF scanners.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack orders safely and efficiently, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed performance targets for picking and packing.
- Support the overall flow of goods within our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse fulfillment or a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and order fulfillment systems.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
