We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Using RF scanners and following detailed pick lists, you will navigate the warehouse efficiently to retrieve the correct products and quantities. Accuracy is key to ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing errors in our supply chain. You will also be responsible for staging picked items for the packing department and maintaining an organized work area. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; you must adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and consistently wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners and pick lists to identify and retrieve products.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking goals.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
