Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7am to 3pm

What You'll Do:

• Assure daily scheduled production is completed in a timely and cost efficient manner.
• Train new personnel.
• Set up machine and removal of tools, and assures processes are done in a timely, orderly and cost efficient manner.
• Assure completed product meets specifications of customer needs.
• Assure customer expectations are consistently met in terms of quality, quantity, and product is produced in a timely manner consistent with established guidelines.
• Assure preventative maintenance schedule is consistently adhered to.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and general organization in the converting production areas.
• Support and provide suggestions for continuous improvement activities to improve processes and procedures.
• Maintain a consistent positive attendance point status.
• Support and adhere to internal quality and safety programs.

Things to Know:

• Demonstrated ability to perform and document all ISO Quality checks required.
• Demonstrated ability to proficiently set up all machines relative to job assignment in a standard time. Ie. Small Trimmer, Slotter, Brause Die Cutter.
• Demonstrated ability to proficiently trouble shoot and make all machine adjustments relative to job assignment.
• Ability and willingness to learn new computer software.
• Thorough understanding of spec cards and correction of non-conforming product procedures.
• Thorough understanding of Standard Work Instructions.

• Must be able to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• The employee must regularly lift, push or pull and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

• The job is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, and moving mechanical parts.
• Safety gear must be worn as required.

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 months working experience in a factory environment
• Must possess proficient communication skills in the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and decimal addition and subtraction.
• Must possess ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand and twist over a long periods of time.
• Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and motivational skills.
• Ability to maintain diplomacy, confidentiality and tact essential, as individual has access to high levels of cost, design and company sensitive materials.
• Must be able to work with frequently changing priorities.
