Sauté Cook

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled line chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, menu planning, and working in a scratch kitchen concept. This individual will need to create a high end menu item, execute prep and be able to efficiently sauté execution of said dishes. The ideal candidate must have experience in cooking and butchering all types of proteins and have sufficient knife skills. This is a busy high paced restaurant setting and only applicants with sufficient sauté history should apply. If you have never worked the hot side of the line or the sauté station, this is not the position for you. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
• Assist with menu planning and development
• Ensure the kitchen meets all sanitary and safety standards
• Collaborate with the culinary team to provide exceptional dining experiences
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen, culinary environment, or restaurant

-Mandatory 2+ years saute line experience
- Knowledge of food industry best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with knives and other kitchen equipment
