Unarmed Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas (Primarily INDOOR) to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when needed during investigations or emergencies.
• Manage conflicts effectively, using conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is REQUIRED.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is advantageous.
• NYS Guard Card
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods.
