Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves supervising maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to support continuous production. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team in daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), and mechanical components.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work order management, inventory control, and reporting.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Manage projects related to facilities management, equipment upgrades, and system improvements through effective project management practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols, including high voltage and low voltage electrical safety procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for audit purposes.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff on technical procedures, safety practices, and operational protocols.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC systems, and general industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, Ohmmeter usage, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Experience working with CMMS software for maintenance management.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial environments, including high voltage safety protocols.
