Day Laborer

Job Overview

I'm looking for a person to be the caretaker for my properties. You will take care of all things property upkeep, maintenance and repairs to residential properties. You would be asked to assist with and do a variety of hands-on projects, supporting construction, landscaping, maintenance, home repairs and operational tasks. This position is perfect for an individual wanting part time work M-F 10am to 3-4 pm to start. Once you are trained you can perform tasks on your own schedule. You would perform or learn to perform a diverse variety of skills. If you are someone who already has work experience and wants part time or side work this might be a side gig for you. The right candiate will get things done as projects arise efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Assist with upkeep of residential single family homes to keep them in proper and good condition.
• Perform general manual labor
• Support or assist me with maintenance, repair and construction projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and dispose of debris.
• Operate basic tools and equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Follow guidelines and be respectful towards others.
• Communicate to meet daily project goals

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling repeatedly
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Reliable transportation or punctuality in arriving at work sites on time.
• Flexible. Understand that work schedule can be affected by priority issues that arise and also weather conditions
• Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
