Position Overview:
We are excited to welcome passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to a private school in the Duval County area. As an SLPA, you will support students in achieving their communication goals through direct therapy services, working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while gaining valuable school-based experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Current Openings: Part-time, PreK, K-5 (elementary), K-8 (academy), 6-8 (middle), and 9-12 (high school).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs, under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist with the implementation of therapy plans and goals developed by the supervising SLP.
• Support small group and individual therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs.
• Collect and document accurate data on student performance during therapy sessions.
• Prepare therapy materials and assist with organizing documentation.
• Collaborate with the supervising SLP, teachers, and school staff to support student progress and classroom integration.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with school staff and families as directed.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or a related field.
• Active SLPA license or certification in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Comfort with basic technology for documentation or virtual services, if needed.
• A passion for helping students thrive in both academic and social settings.
