PoPIE1929 is more than just a meat pie shop — it's a global culinary journey.

Our brand was inspired by the delicious foods we discovered while traveling the world, and now we serve creative, fusion-style pies and international comfort food.

We began in 2024 at the Provo Farmers Market, and opened our first flagship store in American Fork in June 2025. We've since expanded to Denver's 16th Street Mall with a kiosk and a pop-up near Denver University.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation and ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking. This position is perfect for individuals looking to advance their culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

  4. Meat pie

  5. Drinks

Duties

1.Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.

2Assist in the preparation of sauces, dressings, and other menu items.

3.Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations.

4.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.

5.Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to the kitchen manager.

6.Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

7.Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes.

8.Support catering events as needed by preparing large quantities of food.

Requirements

1.Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling.

2.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

3.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.

4.Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

5.Familiarity with culinary techniques and equipment used in food preparation.

6.A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
