Position Overview: The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a key contributor to the efficient and timely management of the company's daily warehouse operations. This full-time, hourly position calls for exceptional work ethic, clear communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective time management. TopLine is seeking a dedicated professional aiming for long-term growth and readiness to develop into an operations management position through training and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and submit daily warehouse activity reports, including total shipments, inventory received, discrepancies, returns to vendors (RTV), customer returns (RMA), and pending orders.
  • With the oversight of the Operations Director, manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy in order pulling and kit packaging.
  • Audit bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documents to verify correct quantity and condition of received supplies.
  • Verify that shipping and receiving reports align with actual goods received and shipped.
  • Coordinate courier pick-up times and oversee shipping processes.
  • Inspect received parts against corresponding purchase orders.
  • Maintain quality control standards by properly identifying and inspecting parts before adding to stock.
  • Ensure accurate identification and placement of inventory when retrieving and returning items to shelves.
  • Efficiently pull parts for customer work orders, kit builds, and inspections.
  • Follow inventory control procedures, participate in inventory counts, and manage stock adjustments as required.
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies, assess damaged stock, and track incoming shipments from vendors.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate delays or issues in shipments to relevant staff members.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations pertaining to warehouse operations.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping duties, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations staff.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma desired.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Understanding of mechanical or electronic components is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed goals.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
