Night Auditor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, guest services, and customer relations. This role is essential for ensuring smooth overnight operations, accurate financial reporting, and exceptional guest experiences during the night shift. The Night Auditor will serve as the front-line representative of our hotel during evening hours, providing excellent service while maintaining operational integrity.

Duties

• Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of guest accounts
• Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries during overnight hours
• Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, addressing guest requests and internal communications
• Provide exceptional guest services, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously to enhance guest relations
• Maintain security protocols and ensure the safety of guests and staff during the night shift
• Prepare detailed reports on financial transactions, occupancy rates, and other operational data for management review
• Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation records, processing payments, and managing guest accounts

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations preferred
• Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is highly desirable
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse guests
• Experience in night audit procedures or similar roles within resort or hotel environments is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and phone etiquette
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of professionalism and attention to detail
