Position Overview
The Project Manager / Licensed Architect is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of architectural projects from programming through construction administration. This role includes serving as a primary client contact, coordinating consultant teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring quality control in accordance with AIA standards of practice. Applicant must be willing to work within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and, where applicable, Architect-in-Charge
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout all project phases
• Manage project scope, schedules, and fees under executed AIA agreements
• Coordinate consultant teams and internal project staff
• Oversee design development and construction documentation as well as self-performance of production of CAD / REVIT documentation
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and zoning requirements
• Administer construction phase services including RFIs, submittals, site visits, change orders, and pay application reviews
• Mentor and supervise architectural staff

Required Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
• Active Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain)
• 8–12 years of professional experience with a minimum of 4 years Project Management experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD a must
• Proficiency in Revit encouraged
• Experience with AIA contract documents
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to travel out-of-state as projects require
