About the Opportunity

In this role, you are responsible for managing store operations, establishing and maintaining customer service, understanding customer needs to sell high end products such as pools, spas, and outdoor furniture. You are accountable for managing teammates to ensure the highest standards are met that maximize the customer experience and drive sales.

More Details

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, offering sales assistance and educating customers on products and services.
• Maintain a clean store, ensuring outstanding product placement, displays, merchandising and inventory management.
• Manage a team of retail store associates and salespeople, including scheduling, training, staff development, individual and team coaching, and performance management.
• Analyze and measure sales results; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed company goals and objectives.
• Ensure appropriate product knowledge, benefits and features, ability to educate customers on service after the sale.
• Competitor analysis and the ability to shop, report results, share information with management and make appropriate price adjustments.
• Review product and consumer trends, make recommendations and initiate changes for maximizing company goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, comfortable maintaining displays and keeping store stocked with product.
• Location: No. Reading, MA; Plaistow, NH; Derry, NH.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree a plus.
• At least 5 years of retail management for high end product lines.
• Previous Swimming Pool Industry Experience is ideal but not necessary. We are willing to train qualified candidates for success in the retail swimming pool industry.
• Proven excellent verbal and communication skills, flexible team-oriented individual.
