Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and customers. This position is vital in supporting the overall operations of the dietary department. Daily cleaning and stocking of the bar. Grilling and frying items on the menu. Minimum paperwork .

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food preparation zones to uphold food safety standards.
• Utilize proper food handling techniques to ensure all surfaces and equipment are sanitized.
• Assist in meal preparation by maintaining cleanliness of cooking utensils and equipment.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food preparation activities as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Adhere to health regulations and company policies regarding cleanliness and sanitation.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and meal preparation techniques is a plus.
• Experience with food handling and knowledge of dietary department operations will be beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
